is it possible that this generation has gotten so used to using/incorporating technology that its representatives cannot imagine what life without it would look like any more? does technology, the web specifically along with all the applications, remind us of the role that, in earlier times, was played by the telephone?... or.. electricity?...
it may be so; it is the belief of this blog that due to technology, communication has only become easier; not better; and still, the simplicity/ease/convenience of an e-mail [formerly known as: letter!... nobody says 'letter' any more!... : (( ] arriving instantly to its receiver is surprising and amazing every time... particularly when the respective locations are half a planet apart (this planet. for now.), not to mention that a simultaneous glance at a map, the old-fashioned way, makes the feeling even more intense:
yes, there definitely IS a good use to technology; and the modern idea of 'everything and everyone being connected'* is not encouraging nor scary in itself; it all depends on the [omnipresent, omnipotent] human factor...
but whether people everywhere realise this, or whether the prevailing use is precisely the 'good' one, that's a different story.

αφού λοιπόν μιλάνε τόσοι πολλοί για το θέμα, πιστεύω πως είναι ταιριαστό να πω κι εγώ την άποψη που έχω σχηματίσει: βασισμένη στην εμπειρία της [διαδικτυακής] γνωριμίας με μπόλικους από δαύτους (του τίτλου), καθώς και στην από καιρό παρατήρηση, πάλι διαδικτυακά, των δραστηριοτήτων και λεγομένων τους* --
υπενθυμίζω πως όχι μόνο δέν έχω τέτοιες επαφές στην αληθή ζωή εδώ, μα και πως ο ίδιος δέν έχω προσωπικές επιδόσεις στο σπορ΄ (καίτοι διαρκώς μετατρέπω/μετασχηματίζω/αλλοιώνω/ξαναπλάθω την μητρική γλώσσα διαρκώς και καθημερινά, αυτό δέν μετράει) έτσι λοιπόν, κοιτάζω με εκ προοιμίου θαυμασμό όσους ασχολούνται, και κοπιαστικά μάλιστα, με τέτοιες δημιουργίες, σημειωτέον δε ότι πλείστες φορές οι ηλικίες είναι πολύ πολύ μικρές (γύρω στα είκοσι)΄ πλείστες επίσης φορές, αν και όχι εκατό τοις εκατό, οι εν λόγω άνθρωποι έχουν γλωσσολογικό υπόβαθρο στις σπουδές΄ αυτό τους κάνει πιό εξοπλισμένους γνώστες σε σχέση με άλλους, και δείχνει επιπλέον την τρέλα που --πρέπει να-- κουβαλάει κάποιος για να κάθεται εξαντλητικές ώρες, και μοναχικές, να σκαρώνει γλωσσικές δημιουργίες που, συνηθέστατα [και οι ίδιοι το συνειδητοποιούν φυσικά] δέν θα πάνε πιό μακριά από το κατώφλι τους --
η τρέλα εδώ είναι καλώς εννοούμενη΄ το ίδιο και η φιλοδοξία΄ διότι υπάρχουν και περιπτώσεις, και εδώ θα ήθελα να επικεντρωθώ, που οι δημιουργοί αναλαμβάνουν την πρωτοβουλία τους πολύ στα σοβαρά, και μπράβο!, με βλέψεις να γνωστοποιήσουν την γλώσσα τους δημόσια, προτείνοντάς την δε σαν βιώσιμη εναλλακτική στο γενικό περιρρέον [για όποιους ενδιαφέρονται ή/και ασχολούνται] θέμα [ή πρόβλημα;] της 'παγκόσμιας κοινής ΑΝΕΞΑΡΤΗΤΗΣ --δεύτερης-- ΓΛΩΣΣΑΣ για όλους' ---
αυτό είναι το θέμα ακριβώς΄ αυτό μας φέρνει στην κύρια συζήτηση, που είναι ακριβώς η πραγματική ή υποτιθέμενη ανάγκη της παρουσίας και χρήσης μιας ήδη υπάρχουσας ή τώρα ad hoc δημιουργηθησομένης λίνγκουα φράνκα, που να μήν αντιστοιχεί σε κανένα υπάρχον εθνικό κράτος, ικανής να φέρει τους λαούς, όλους τους λαούς λένε οι πλέον αισιόδοξοι, πιό κοντά, με θετικές συνέπειες στο διεθνές πολιτικό κλίμα και την γενικότερη κοινωνική ανανέωση του ανθρωπισμού (σε αντίθεση πλήρη, δηλαδή, με τα νυν ισχύοντα)΄
αυτό όμως πρέπει να κουβεντιαστεί πιό αναλυτικά παρακάτω΄
*εἰρήσθω ἐν παρόδω, οἱ προσωπικές μου ἀνταλλαγές ποὺ ἔγιναν ἢ ἀκόμα γίνονται μὲ νεαρότερους καὶ μή νεαροὺς δημιουργοὺς γλωσσῶν, μοῦ ἄφησαν μία γεύση ἀνάμικτη: ἐλάχιστοι ἐξ αὐτών κυμάνθηκαν μεταξὺ τοῦ νὰ μήν ἀνταποκριθούν καθόλου στὰ μηνύματα καὶ τῆς λακωνικότητας/περιοριστικότητας, ἐνῶ οἱ συντριπτικά πολλοί, κι αὐτό εἶναι ἀσφαλῶς πρὸς τιμήν τους, δείχτηκαν ἀνοιχτοί καὶ πρόθυμοι νὰ ἀνταλλάξουν ἀπόψεις καὶ προβληματισμούς --ἡ 'δουλειά τους' εἶναι, ἄλλωστε-- σὲ κλῖμα σοβαρό (ἄν καὶ ὄχι κατηφές) καὶ εὔθυμο/φιλικό, ἄν καὶ ἐπ' οὐδενί λόγῳ ἐπιδερμικό ἢ χαβαλεδιάρικο.

(EO) mi ofte scivolas cxu eblas la komunikado inter homoj el tro malproksimaj landoj (ekz. unu el Euxropo kaj unu el Ameriko), cxar ili ne konas la samajn aferojn nek havas la saman vivon, kvankam povas sxajni ke ili faras/faris samajxojn (filmojn, muzikon, komputilon ktp.) ---tamen, la mentaleco estas kaj estOs malsimila: tio signifas ke tiuj du uloj devas peni por kompreni unu la alian, kaj tio estas io kion la homoj, gxenerale, ne sxatas fari.
(ES) a menudo me pregunto si es posible la comunicación entre personas de países muy lejanos (por ejemplo una de Europa y una de América), ya que no saben las mismas cosas ni tienen vidas semejantes, aunque puede parecer que hacen/han hecho cosas similares (películas, música, ordenador etc.) --empero, la mentalidad es y será diferente: esto significa que esas dos personas tienen que esforzarse por entenderse, y esto es algo que la gente, en general, no quiere hacer.

WE are the ocean, WE are the message, WE are the bottle, Marshall... meanwhile, personal goals & ambitions tend to disagree with the big picture -that's gone a little dim all of a sudden- or, in the best of cases, care too little, no matter how firmly we believe(?) we're sooo non-racist, ecologically logical, globally aware & politically correct (seriously?), of utmost-est importance (in a multidimensional lolling universe) and, last but not least, humanly human... and humane... and humanists... and humorists... does anyone, especially those involved in linguistic processes, [want to] remember the etymology (ἔτυμον [τὸ] = true) of the word 'humo(u)r'?... ................. OKKKK, six ace day, bye now ----

internet y democracia
a menudo pienso que en todas esas redes sociales, que para muchísima gente sustituyen la Vida (real y social), hay un aspecto, entre otros, que funciona como obstáculo en la comunicación: los números --
es decir, ¿cómo se acercan mutuamente una persona que tiene 50 o 100 contactos y una persona que tiene 1750 contactos? suponiendo que no se conocen sino solamente a través del cibermundo, está claro que no tienen las mismas posibilidades ni las mismas oportunidades: la información que recibe el primero llega frecuentemente y destaca, ergo éste puede fácilmente regalar sus comentarios y demás cosas del juego, mientras que el segundo, el rey de la red, no puede, por ser humano y porque tales números lo superan, manejar el enorme flujo, por consiguiente la comunicación entre esos dos 'amigos' nunca será recíproca; será unilateral, lo cual es el inicio de problemas y malentendidos --
¿es cierto que personas con miles de amigos ni siquiera miran sus mensajes ya que, según leyes de la estadística, en un día cualquiera pueden recibir unos centenares? ¿qué nos dice eso de la comunicación? ¿qué nos dice de la Comunicación?
(lo mismo ocurre en páginas de personas 'famosas' o de organizaciones etc.: ¿acaso hay significado cuando un post allí recibe inmediatamente 2025 comentarios por ejemplo? según este blog el significado es simple y claramente nulo, y esa realidad que lo genera y lo mantiene, una broma de muy mal gusto)
es decir, ¿cómo se acercan mutuamente una persona que tiene 50 o 100 contactos y una persona que tiene 1750 contactos? suponiendo que no se conocen sino solamente a través del cibermundo, está claro que no tienen las mismas posibilidades ni las mismas oportunidades: la información que recibe el primero llega frecuentemente y destaca, ergo éste puede fácilmente regalar sus comentarios y demás cosas del juego, mientras que el segundo, el rey de la red, no puede, por ser humano y porque tales números lo superan, manejar el enorme flujo, por consiguiente la comunicación entre esos dos 'amigos' nunca será recíproca; será unilateral, lo cual es el inicio de problemas y malentendidos --
¿es cierto que personas con miles de amigos ni siquiera miran sus mensajes ya que, según leyes de la estadística, en un día cualquiera pueden recibir unos centenares? ¿qué nos dice eso de la comunicación? ¿qué nos dice de la Comunicación?
(lo mismo ocurre en páginas de personas 'famosas' o de organizaciones etc.: ¿acaso hay significado cuando un post allí recibe inmediatamente 2025 comentarios por ejemplo? según este blog el significado es simple y claramente nulo, y esa realidad que lo genera y lo mantiene, una broma de muy mal gusto)
